A little while back I bought 2 metres of a stretchy fabric in a olive colour. It was spur of the moment and I still havn't made anything with it. I remembered a site I used to play on when I was younger and you could draw out designs, so that what I did!

The mouse pad on my laptop is in need of being callobrated, so its a bit hippoty-hop. I have alot of fabric there and it only cost me about £3.50 but I'm not to fussed if it goes wrong.

I've also been in scour of a prom dress for when I leave school. I'v got a while to wait yet but I thought if i save all my pocket money and babysitting money I could buy a really nice one. I really want one in a style like Taylors when she attended the 2010 Costume Institute Gala Benefit ...
Its Ralph Lauren but I'm unsure of the price, what I'm sure of is that I wont be able to afford it. I love the angelic look and the magnificent beading. I'm in love with it. It hails from the Ralph Lauren Spring 2005 RTW selection.
If anyone could give me the price I'd be so grateful. xx

Polar bears and camels.

I went shopping the other day and nipped into Debenhams to have a look at the H by Henry Holland range. I think its fantastic value for low prices, seeing as it is designer. In ICT a few weeks ago we were producing a magazine article and mine was the launch of his new range modelled by Pixie Geldof. Since then I have been slightly obsessed with him. There was a sale on so I decided to treat myself to a 'Bagazine'.

Its a lovely clutch bag and if I ever decide to leave my house, I shall be using it. I love the colours which will go with any outfit and update a LBD.

I then went to go buy Vogue but saw a free Erdem tote with Harper's Bazaar. I decided to buy that and come back later for the Vogue. Its beautiful, it has a print of drawn models on the front but I cant find a picture on the net and my phones currently broken.

In other news, whilst flicking through the trends for next season, I saw the heavy knits and faux fur. S owhen my mother was throwing things out of her closet, I claimed her white knitted cardi and nipped down to the haberdashery and pinned some faux fur to it. I doubt I'll ever where it outside the house but once I get round to sewing it, I think it will look okay. I was mainly inspired by this Julien Macdonald peice in the Fall 2010 collection.
I shall upload a picture when I finish, oh and find an alternitave method to do so...

Tuesday 20 July 2010

uh oh,

I havn't posted anything in a while, I've been to busy with my crush on Charlie Bewley... Anywhos, um, yesterday I thrifted a floral lacey shirt and a highwaisted skirt cashing in at £8 pounds altogether. Pictures to come in the near future. I've been considering a new hairstyle as my bob is nearly to my shoulders and its all choppy, and I'm not talking about the good choppy. I very much want it like Lady Gagas here, or at the end of Paparazzi. We share the same face shape and nose, so its a good match. :)

What a delight!

I've decided I am now in love with Charlie Bewley, the guy who plays Demetri in Twilight New Moon. After I read The short second life of Bree Tanner, I remembered how in love with Twilight I am, and Demetri expecially. Yeah, theres other hot people to, but I'm attracted to him the most. Hes holding a cute koala and is beautiful, whats not to like?!

Hello!

Its suddenly dawned on me how antisocial I am, I mean, I told my friends I wasn't going out just so I could make a dress and listen to the Dreamboats and Peticoats album.

I elasticated the waistband, but then when I attached the top I messed it up, so it doesn't stretch now. I want to be in the 1950s at the moment, so all my outfits are based on that decade. :)

Oh, I've got a picture of my beautiful woolen jacket, be warned, it was took a while back, and I'm not looking my best...

Excuse my Edward Cullen poster. Like most children my age, I am obsessed! The top and skirt hail from H&M and both the Cameo brooch and jacket come from charity shops. My sisters gave me The Short Life Of Bree Tanner to read, so I'm off to do so! Ciao for now! x

Luella Love!

So, what we're dealing with is this inspirational Luella dress which was in the Spring 2010 collection, The original, will set you back a month or twos rent. Or, you could snap up the Gosh Celebrity Fashion version at $139.00, approximatly £90, OR, better still run down to Matalan, hand over £22 instead of your rent money, and you get a detachable belt. Bargain!

Above, Luella and Gosh Celeb. Fashion versions,

Below, Matalan.

Oh, and speaking of it, see that beautiful spotted bag the model is holding, I imagine it to be pricey, but this one right below, weighing in at 32 pound, give it up for Topshop!!!

Oh well, I'm off to watch Project Runway, Tschüs!

Viktor&Rolf, Pre-Fall 2010

I'm in love with this coat/cape item. I've figured out what I'd fill the pockets with, loose change, my mobile, random buttons and sequins and biros.
I loved the collection, the basic dull colours were effective and the random brightly coloured clothing that popped up every so often. Brilliant!

The fuschia pink jumpsuit with the black shoes and belt is beautiful, expecially with the shoulder detail. This is how I imagined love to be!

Sheep in Mcqueen,

pretty self explanory. I passed a flea market today but could only marvel at the stalls seeing as I spent my money on a KISS top which was on sale in H&M and a woolen jacket I found in a charity shop which I think is the most beautiful thing on the earth.
There was a stall with all the giant and smaller records and as I went past an A-HA disc my heart stopped for a moment. I wont lie, I only know one song of theirs, but I love it. I didn't have anything left in my purse and my mom had wandered off. It killed me a little inside..
I was told that this market is usually on every Saturday so I look forward to splurging on the lovely jewellery that was for sale.
I came across a pair of white Edwardian style gloves but unfortunatly, they were way to small, I only imagine a small child to be able to squeeze into them.
I'll put pictures up soon, I just don't feel well at the moment ;(

Prints

After picking up a book in the library called Cath Kidston in Print, I've discovered my love of her products and designs. I took a few pictures of my favourite prints, the colour is abit off, seeing as I took them in the early hours of the morning, and the artificial light in my place isn't the best.

Photoshop didn't want to make them any better ;(

I'm your average follower to fashion, but I'm not really materialistic. I like to make my own clothes, and get a good bargain from a charity shop.
I'll take a look at recent fashion show pictures and make something out of that.
I'm brutally honest which has its good and bad points, mainly bad...
I adore the vintage 40's and 50's look, and I love the 60's tunes.
I plan to post my makes and buys and various pictures but I'm just getting started.
:)
